Privacy Policy
PIXELCHARTS PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: September 5, 2026
This policy explains what PixelCharts (“we,” “us”) collects on pixelcharts.net and related apps.
1. Who we are Contact: support@sticks.gg
2. What we collect Account: email, password hash (handled by our auth provider), display name, avatar/banner you upload, plan status. Optional Steam link: public Steam ID and public profile fields needed to show a linked badge. Not your Steam password. Usage: pages viewed, search queries, favorites, equipped chart skin, approximate region for store prices (e.g. country code). Technical: IP address, browser/device type, cookies or local storage for session and preferences. Payments: if you buy skins or Plus, Stripe (or similar) processes the card. We receive payment status, last4/brand if provided, and email — not full card numbers. Player-count samples: we store Steam app IDs and concurrent player numbers we requested from Steam. That data is about games, not about you.
3. Why we use it To run accounts, favorites, skins, and Plus. To show charts, prices, and scores. To prevent abuse and fix bugs. To email you about the account or purchases you requested. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK if applicable) Contract (provide the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, game charts), consent where required (marketing email, non-essential cookies), legal obligation.
5. Sharing Processors who help us run the Service: hosting, database/auth (e.g. Supabase), payments (e.g. Stripe), email delivery, Steam and OpenCritic public APIs. We share information if required by law or to protect the Service. Public pages show game charts and prices — not your email.
6. Cookies Essential cookies keep you signed in. Preference storage remembers UI and equipped skins. We do not run ad networks today. If that changes, we will update this policy.
7. Retention Account data lasts until you delete the account, plus a short backup window. Payment records last as long as tax/fraud rules require. CCU samples are kept to power historical charts and are not used to identify you.
8. Your choices Access, correct, or delete account data by emailing support@sticks.gg or using in-app settings where available. Unlink Steam in account settings. Cancel Plus in the billing portal. You may have extra rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or US state laws (access, deletion, correction, portability, appeal). We will not discriminate for exercising them. Authorized-agent requests: email us from the account address.
9. Children We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers Servers may be in the United States or other countries. If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by our processors (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
11. Security We use HTTPS and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
12. Changes We will update the date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on the site.
13. Contact / complaints support@sticks.gg EEA/UK users may also complain to their local data protection authority.
