Terms of Service
PIXELCHARTS TERMS OF SERVICE Last updated: September 5, 2026
PixelCharts (“PixelCharts,” “we,” “us”) operates pixelcharts.net and related apps (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What this is PixelCharts shows concurrent Steam player counts we record ourselves, current Steam store prices, and third-party critic scores when available. We are not Valve, Steam, SteamDB, OpenCritic, or any game publisher. Not affiliated with Valve.
2. No guarantee on numbers Player counts come from public Steam endpoints at the time we sample them. We only chart samples we stored. Gaps happen if sampling is down. Prices and scores can be late, wrong, or missing. Charts, peaks, and “playing now” figures are informational. Do not treat them as investment, trading, or official Valve data.
3. Accounts You may create an account (email via our auth provider). You are responsible for the account. Do not share credentials or abuse sign-in. We may refuse, suspend, or delete accounts for abuse, fraud, or ToS violations.
4. Steam linking If you link a Steam account, you authorize read-only public Steam profile data we need for that feature. We do not get your Steam password. Unlink anytime in account settings.
5. Favorites, skins, Plus Favorites are stored on your account. Chart skins and PixelCharts Plus (if offered) are sold as described at checkout. Cosmetic skins restyle charts for you; they do not change underlying numbers. Paid features may change. Taxes and processor fees are extra where applicable.
6. Payments Payments (if any) run through Stripe or a similar processor. Their terms apply to the charge. We do not store full card numbers. Refunds: digital cosmetics and subscription time already used are generally not refundable except where law requires. Cancel Plus before the next renewal to stop further charges.
7. Acceptable use Do not: scrape or overload the Service; pretend our charts are Steam’s or SteamDB’s; resell raw sample feeds without permission; break the law; attack other users; or attempt to break auth, payments, or sampling.
8. Intellectual property The PixelCharts name, layout, skin studio, and our recorded sample database are ours. Steam names, art, and trademarks belong to Valve and publishers. We use public store metadata to identify games. You get a limited license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial reference.
9. Third-party services Steam, OpenCritic, Supabase, Stripe, hosting, and similar vendors have their own terms. Outages on their side can break features.
10. Disclaimer THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT LAW ALLOWS.
11. Limitation of liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT LAW ALLOWS, PIXELCHARTS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON CHARTS OR PRICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
12. Indemnity You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
13. Children The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country). Do not create an account if you are under that age.
14. Changes We may update these Terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date is acceptance. We may change or shut down features.
15. Termination You may stop using the Service and delete your account by contacting us. We may terminate access at any time for breach or to protect the Service.
16. Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise. Courts in [YOUR COUNTY / STATE] have exclusive venue, except where the law gives you a right to sue at home.
